Selling On Auction Sites

This is not exactly an " internet program " but I still wanted to write a bit about it anyway as it is a very popular and easy way to make money over the internet.
Like many other people who work online, Ebay was where I made my first ever dollar using a computer from home.
I started by selling all of my household and family items that we no longer required, and I found that with 3 growing children, there was never a shotage of products to sell. I also found myself regulary visiting opportunity shops and garage sales in search for a bargain that I could resell for a profit.
My biggest problem with selling on Ebay however was of course the listing fee's when items did not sell, so I began to sell my goods on Oztion instead where I did not get charged listing fees. I was free to list as much as I wanted without it costing me a fortune.
After a good while of selling my own items from my home, I came accross a great website full of resale ebooks and software programs. These where the items that made me the most money on auction sites, simply because there was no postage cost and I could resell the same product over and over again and never run out of stock. Oztion allows you to sell digital goods online,but ebay no longer does,so I would simply copy the item onto a printable disk making it a physical item and post it for less than $2.
The ebooks and software programs I would sell were not those silly 99c products people waste their time selling. I only sold products that that were over $12 each. On many occasions I would find myself selling 8 or 9 of the same product for $49.99 a week making me about $400 in profit.
I found that these items sell better when they are on disk.

Another great way I found to sell products on auction sites is to dropship them from an online wholesaler.
I would list the wholesalers items for a higher price than they sell them, without actually having the items myself. When goods would sell,the customer would pay me the higher sale price then I would purchase the item from the wholesaler for the lower price and have the item directly shipped to the customer.This way I do not have to handle any postage,all I do is sit at home on my computer listing items and making orders.
